Advantages: Very easy assembly. The good workmanship and overall shape of the floor mats at the front and rear are convincing. The back mat fits particularly well. I have a feeling they will have the power to extend the life of the car (as long as I have them). The Bad: There are latches on the driver's side that help hold it in place, but unfortunately they keep popping out. during driving. They're shaped so the mat doesn't slide into the pedals, which is a relief, but it does move when unplugged. In addition, part of the passenger side rises significantly above the ground. Not much, but it poses some tripping hazard for those getting into the car. That they're advertised as made for the Ford Escape is a little disappointing, but not tragic. It can be cropped, but I don't like changing something like that from its original shape, but it wouldn't be too hard to mark and crop it either. All in all a decent buy for the price. There may be better options, but after installing and using it for a week, it's not worth returning and buying again.
