Having just started hot flashes.I needed to find ways to get relief. This blanket helps. The material is light weight and cool. Before my hot flashes, I like being covered up with weight of multiple blankets. If you are like me then, keep it on your body and use other covers around you as needed. I also have get very cold and need to cover up from time to time. There isn't any feeling of weight with this blanket. So if you like the feeling of a heavy blanket or feeling like you're covered up you will need to add another blanket to get that sensation. It works for me just have to deal with the in between times of too hot or too cold. If you're a hot sleeper in general, your going to like the feeling this gives you.
