2015 - As others have said it came with a tripod and 13ft measuring rod, neither of which were described in the shipping details so I didn't know if they came with it. , at such a low price. Maybe it was a mistake, but we got a lot. Everything looks very hard. Updated 08/12/19. My fault is that I bought it when I didn't need it and now my three year warranty has expired. I've finally started using it, but the possibilities in the scope of application are endless. You can't hold the spirit level because the end of the scope moves up and down because it doesn't tighten. My reading can change 3/4 of an inch at only 25 feet because it bounces up and down so much. The Phillips screw on the bottom is fully tightened so there is nothing I can do as it is no longer tightening in the bearings. It moves on a spring, but if you rotate the scope the other way, it moves up or down a bit and gets stuck instead of returning to the same position, requiring you to re-orient it every time you touch it . It shouldn't wobble up and down like that. I called the manufacturer and I will cover the shipping costs. They said they would give me a price to fix it. I'll post an update later on what they find out, what's wrong with it, and if they'll charge me for a defective unit I've received. I hope they see it was always defective and replace it for free.
