not top performance, but for a developer it is quite suitable. Some pros: - very compact. - silent. - ideal for video conferencing - excellent camera microphone. - excellent color reproduction, high pixel density - text is well read. - you can take it with a vesa suspension, which i did. - external power supply, it also has an ethernet connector - full integration with iphone - you can receive sms or calls from your phone. - can run apps for iphone/ipad (not all). - extremely low probability of catching the virus. - fingerprint login / passwords, the ability to use apple pay, like on the iphone. Has some cons - its center of gravity is much higher than the attachment point, so there can be problems with a vesa gimbal - you need a gimbal with fixing the rotation of the monitor, otherwise the imac strives to turn upside down. - only 1 external monitor can be connected - egpu not supported.
