Review on Kai 7250 10-Inch Pro Shears by Lischelle Ward

O.MY.WEALTH. The pattern is about 20% cut, new scissors have arrived so I rushed to my cutting table to try them out! (Don't worry the scissors were pointing down, never run with scissors! LOL) Excitedly I cut off about 12 inches from the edge of the sleeve and was so impressed I had to stop and write this review. You are amazing, SIMPLY AMAZING! Cutting fleece is like cutting through warm butter, no drag, smooth as silk. The grip is incredibly comfortable and fits my hands perfectly. I see myself cutting many, many yards of fabric with these scissors. with my hands and I can tell within a minute if the handle isn't working. The touch/feel of KAI is clear sky. So what have I used/what have I used before Fiskar's Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride 8 inch scissors - they chew, they don't cut. You are terrible. Ginghers - I have had Ginghers for many years. They have always been too small for my hands and very uncomfortable/painful to use when cutting a lot or cutting heavy fabrics. They were better than the Fiskars but my goodness the Ginghers never quite matched the smooth flow of those KAIs. Why did I buy the original Fiskars set? Spring. After a 15 year break, I've returned to sewing. Reading the reviews I bought a FISKARS Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissor 8" (62.00) based on the reviews. I also bought a tiny KAI pair of scissors at the time. The instructor scolded toddlers and no one I know sews, so I was like a greenhorn about scissors. My gingers were crippled by kids cutting paper and taken to one of my orphanages never to be seen again. :) Save yourself the hassle and inconvenience. These 8" scissors KAI Prof. is everything you could ask for and more.Yes they are $55 but you get what you paid for!These Fiskars are now 62.00 paper scissors relegated to gift wrap.Call me for always a KAI fan.
