Irregular fabric structure
My son is a little stockier. He is 11 and 97 pounds. My biggest criticism of these pants wasn't so much that they were too tight in his hips, but that the fabric really varied from pair to pair and I doubt he would wear two of them if they were. I ended up buying charcoal hugs and they are soft and have extra space.
