These fairly soft sheets are made from 100% polyester microfiber. They are not as soft as flannel but feel a little smooth and cool. The texture isn't rough or scratchy at all, and this color is a neutral blue-grey that pairs well with many other colors. The set is an economical choice yet has a striking high-end accent with three narrow strips of satin stitching and a top hem of flat sheets and pillowcases. Deep pockets on the sheet accommodate our 12" mattress. Elastic fabric around the sheet helps keep it under the mattress. Garment Care: Machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry and tumble dry quick. Do not bleach or dry clean, warm iron can be used if needed. I'm not sure how these sheets will wear down over time, but my last two sets of sheets were over three times their size and both broke in less than a year, even when washed gently in cold water and on lower Temperature dried seems better to drop the price and see how they do it.
