I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
Has pros: Retains heat well. I experienced fishing at -26 (I myself did not expect such a frost, I went out at -11). The tea did not get cold during daylight hours. Good thermos. I like it. Has cons: For me, no. Friends say that it would not be bad if there was a valve. I believe that the valve will give heat loss.
