These items are easy to assemble, the only downside is the included hooks. They are too short for drywall and studs. They're probably designed to attach directly to the tree, so I used other hooks. All you have to do is install the hooks and then pull the springs up and onto the hooks and that's it. If you're installing into drywall with no bolts behind, you'll need to use a hollow wall anchor and something for the spring to snag on. In most cases you will have top wall stud plates that the hook will screw into, the length of the hook should be 2.5 inches. These mirrors are not heavy, but there is some tension in the spring, so the hooks must be securely attached.
