Bought these for my 86 year old Mom, who never dresses warmly enough in the winter. She LOVED them so much, I ended up ordering 2 more pair: 1 for me and 1 for her. Warm and comfy! My mother's first pair lasted a good 3 months while wearing them 17 hours a day (she is homebound). After 3 months, the outer layer had worn about 1/2 inch hole on the heel. They're still wearable (the fleece layer is still intact), and 3 months of 24/7 (except for sleep) use is pretty nice. Mom tends to stand a lot, rather than sit.For myself, I am very hard on socks and slippers, as I shuffle my feet, and I wore out the outer layer in about a month. My Mother's new pair ( we began wearing them at the same time) are still like new!Easy to wash and throw in dryer. Very cute! I am planning to buy 2 more pairs so we'll have them ready for next winter! :)
