I have been using this product for many years. Best for aquariums only as plants can be affected. I have used it in aquariums with plants but it causes some plants to turn yellow. I take it out of the water with multiple water changes after about a month if you aren't adding new fish to your tank. It will kill shrimp and snails so be sure to get rid of them when handling the aquarium. I've read that fish farmers don't use copper sulfate because they believe it harms their fish's reproductive cycle. That may be true, but my longfin pink barbs have been breeding and producing viable generations of fish for many years. My corridors have also appeared. All in all a good cough and parasite remedy.
