This is a great bit for carving on my CNC machine. With the settings right when doing the layout, barely any sanding was required to carve these Christmas ornaments I made. I cut 60 of them, and the bit still seemed to work as well on the last one as it did on the first. This was surprising because these were cut from Mahogany and required a total about 20 hours of cutting. If you look closely at the picture, this bit was capable of adding the detail of the scarf on the snowman, which is impressive since the ornament is only 3 1/2” tall.
