Good seal, cable too short.
Seals better than my 1998 factory cap. As others have said, the tether is too short for a fourth generation F-body. I was able to remove the leash from my old cap and attach it to this one. I destroyed my old cap in the process, so make sure this solves your problem if you go down this route.
