I have owned 2 desk chairs in 30 years. I have had this chair for exactly 1 year. After buying this chair and not returning it immediately I have problems with my arms and back and I almost know it was THIS chair. I sell stuff online and make a living, and I agonized over this medieval thing for a whole year. No cushions, just plywood and 1 sheet of foam rubber for the seat and the same amount for the back. I'm only 5ft tall so anyone taller than that shouldn't buy this chair because you can't get your hands on it either. There are armrests, but they're just made out of tough, cheap, recycled DIRTY plastic. No depreciation at all. The only reason for cushions and racing bikes is to hide how cheaply they are made. About a year ago the height adjustment piston failed and it didn't help my knees. (((FYI. For the first time, duct tape doesn't solve the problem))). Can sit back. but what's the use if the cushions are sticking out of your back and the seat hurts. I knew the armrests were NOT adjustable but had no idea the height would be equivalent to the height of a 5 year old starving orphanage in Myanmar. Since I hadn't had armrests for over a year, I strained my tendons. I have just returned to my child's work chair and am much happier. The cushions are always falling and shifting, so the chair is never the same day after day. Please don't think I'm scolding. Because it isn't. I really think this chair will hurt you too if you buy it. So I've uploaded a few more photos to help you make a wise and practical decision that your mom would agree with. Also remember that if you've already made an unfortunate mistake ordering the chair, you have 30 days to return the chair before it's yours forever (no refunds).
