I foolishly bought a new MacBook which, like the latest Apple products, seems to be geared more towards business convenience , arrogance and insatiable greed for profit than for the user experience of me, the consumer. I used to be able to connect my camera's memory card, headphones, and external hard drives directly to my computer. All of these things now require dongles of various types or multiports, and because of this lack of convenience I've spent hundreds of dollars more than previous laptops that included such basic niceties. If you've made the same unfortunate choice, you can use some things that you might not otherwise be able to use anymore. Enjoy your progress.
