The needle threader and paws are included, and you can choose from a wide variety of stitches on this machine. The standard seam, on the other hand, is repulsive since the bottom thread doesn't stay put and practically loops. My previous seagull didn't have a seam like this one, where the top row can be seen from the bottom, but the bottom row couldn't be seen from the top. I went to change, and they brought me two more of them and one other brand, all of which were in the same price range. All customers receive the same standard of quality. The consultant claimed that once they started collecting them in Thailand, the overall quality of the items increased dramatically. My girlfriend, who bought the identical machine years before me, is an expert seamstress. To top it all off, the "quality" is the standard fare of bells and whistles, which is a major letdown. No one should waste their money, in my opinion.
