Works as advertised.

Drilled and installed in the truck console. Has a bright blue LED to indicate power, but I want to turn it off. There is a message printed on the ring port asking me to enable blocking, but I don't understand it. Two of the three DC adapters I plugged into the port worked, but were weak/faulty and I couldn't get any "blocking" behavior.

Pros

The cigarette lighter socket has a built-in LED indicator, making it quick and easy to use in the dark or at night, and easy to check if the connection is successful.
