Review on Wolfcraft 3751405 Dowel Pro Doweling by Jason Daves

So far I've only used this dowel clamp for corner joints. It's fairly accurate and the corner joints are straight and flush. After reading the instructions, the application is relatively easy. There are some good videos on Youtube, but not in English. In the case of corner connections, the drilling depth for the side panel and shelf edge is different. It would therefore be nice if two drill stops were supplied for each drill size. Then you could use two drills instead of readjusting the drill stop each time. I also noticed that the adjustable clamp feet leave marks on the outside of the side panel, see photo. I used a dremel to sharpen the tip of the screw a bit so it doesn't mark the wood when fully tightened. I also sanded the edges of the board. After that, no more traces remain. This dowel set is definitely sufficient for my purposes and worth its price.
