UPDATE 11/28/2018 I went back to buy another chair - not for myself but for my 18 year old son. My chair is about 4 1/2 years old and still has no cracks, cracks, cracks, etc. It has survived daily dog claws on the armrests and my fat butt is constantly in it. I'm tired of buying new chairs for my son and giving him good things. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this chair in April 2014 and I still use it every day. I work and play online, so when I use every day I mean 12+ hours every day, 7 days a week. I weigh 230 pounds and I swap out my Wal-Mart chair every year because the armrests broke when I leaned on them or put too much pressure on them when I stood up/sat down. The pillows always straightened up fairly quickly, so they were comfortable for a couple of months at most. This chair still looks the same as it did the day I bought it, minus the dog hair that is ubiquitous, at least in my house. The pillow is still soft and comfortable. The leather is not torn or torn yet. I never did anything to take care of it. Also the armrests, which have always cracked or torn on my other chairs after a year, are still perfect. The buoyancy is still strong and has not lost its pressure. This was my first "expensive" chair I've ever bought and as it saved me from buying 2-4 other chairs at the same time. I have to say it was worth every penny.
