A lifelong camper, camp chef and camp stove fan, I was skeptical of an aluminum pan but ordered these to complement my cast iron set and steel. After eight months of testing, I returned to the Revain to buy another one to have at home and one in my camping gear. Its non-stick surface is flawless and seemingly durable. The heat distribution properties of this pan, at least on natural gas or propane stoves, are remarkable. And its design is super functional. If I have one complaint, it may be that the fat reservoir is a bit small for over a full pound of bacon, but a ball syringe/turkey syringe can fix this during cooking. Can't recommend it enough and look forward to having at least two on hand.
