I really like this canister! With my old canisters, I had trouble sealing my ground coffee and keeping it fresh - I often had to change canisters because the seals broke. This canister holds a good, tight seal and has a very strong latch that doesn't feel loose or misaligned. It's durable and smooth. I'm not sure if my coffee grounds are necessarily "fresh" in this tin compared to others, but I use the date settings and still get that fresh "coffee" smell when I open it (it smells not stale). This canister also holds slightly more coffee than most other canisters (dry and fluid ounces are different types!). At first I thought it was a bit pricey for a single tin, but since it didn't need to be altered it's a good buy overall!
