I like them and am a bit snobbish about the sound. I'm going to briefly help you make a decision. They are great for training. within a reasonable. They just can't do burpee-like moves. Regular resistance training and weights will do, and the bass is really great for that. They're really good for phone calls and music in general. That's what I use them for and they meet my needs quite well. In short, they are cheaper than newer models. They're good for the price and probably as good as many at twice the price. Buy them if you like a great electronics brand that always seems to deliver. I guess I've always bought great Sony products so it reminded me why I keep renewing myself. They are cool. Take her.
