Review on ZULU Studio Plastic Bottle Silicone by Christopher Rodriguez

Added after 2 weeks. The entire cover is removed by unscrewing. However I didn't find this to be a good idea as there are some small details that cause the cap to lift and fall off when the cap is removed from the bottle. Luckily I didn't lose them and was able to put them back in the lid. Since then I have not removed the cap and only my bottle but left the cap open as long as it stays on the bottle. I was a little hesitant to order this a few weeks ago as there were no reviews yet. My old Takeya water bottle cap was damaged and I was unable to order a replacement as they no longer make this bottle. I've always wished Takeya had a lid and this one has it. It was more than I expected but I'm very happy with it. I like everything about it. The entire cover is removable and can easily be put back on if you wish to remove it before washing. All parts are dishwasher safe. Better than anything. The lid does not drip! The lid opens when the rod is pushed. There's a slidable little button that locks the retractable mechanism to prevent it from opening when you're carrying it in a pocket or backpack. It really is perfect for my use case. The only thing some should pay attention to is the size. It's 26 ounces which makes it quite large but not too wide for easy holding if you have small hands like mine. From what I understand the size is large. If I'm outside all day, I'll have enough water for quite a while. If you need a large glass water bottle, I highly recommend this one. (I've only had this bottle for a few weeks or more so can't comment on its longevity. However, I have no reason to believe it will win yet. It's not holding up well). Of course, if there are problems with the cap over time, I hope that the company will offer replacement caps.
