I use them to keep the hem of my skinny jeans from popping out of my booties. They work great. The buckles hold the material securely, but instead of any spikes or pins, plastic handles are used to avoid damaging the fabric at all. They snap on and off easily, but not as easily unfastened. I clip the one on the inside ankle just in front of the side seam of the jean and the outside just behind the seam, which seems to keep things straight without placing the clasp in an awkward spot. they hold up well. I love her!
