These boot straps are well made of durable rubber. The clips are easy to use and hold onto materials very well. I use them to hold my pants in short boots and they do the job perfectly. They seem pretty comfortable when I wear them, and I've had no issues with them hurting my ankles, as one reviewer complained.

These boot straps are so beautifully made I wanted to love them. However, the clips sit on my ankle and hurt in my boots. I tried bringing them closer to the front of my pants but they still hurt. The company is really nice and suggested I try a longer pair so I could wear them on the leg instead of down. I could try this approach.

These straps work great and hold up, but as another reviewer noted, I'm having a hard time finding a comfortable place to put them without chafing my ankles. I've tried cutting them in various places on my pant legs, but I always end up with holes in my socks or, worse, cuts or abrasions on my ankles. I ordered a different style from another seller to see if their item was more comfortable.

I bought "shoe shoes" as they were called a few years ago and they stretched a lot so I decided to look for a replacement. I found these boot straps and decided to try them. They are perfect for what I need, perfect length and great grip. They keep my pants tucked in and look good. You just have to be careful to place them in the right place so they don't rub anything. Sometimes I have to rearrange them a few times. Good product.

I use them to keep the hem of my skinny jeans from popping out of my booties. They work great. The buckles hold the material securely, but instead of any spikes or pins, plastic handles are used to avoid damaging the fabric at all. They snap on and off easily, but not as easily unfastened. I was a little hesitant to order them after reading some of the other reviews but I have to say I love these straps. They're the right length for what I need and the clips didn't damage the fabric. I only gave 4 stars because - yes as some of the other reviews have said - they can feel a bit uncomfortable if the clip falls on the ankle. Just slide it. They work great for me.
