Yes all reviews here are correct as this is a great little bike! My 4 year old took it straight away and just loves it. During the day he walked around the neighborhood. and it comes from a young kid who had trouble with a little bike with training wheels (it was a Walmart airplane-themed kid's bike he got as a gift; it was so hard to pedal it wasn't a good bike). A balance bike as a beginner's bike makes sense. Once a child has mastered a balance bike, they can easily switch to a solid pedal bike. The only exception I have with this bike is my son took a wrong turn the other day and the 'stop' that keeps the handlebars from spinning excessively somehow broke. The "stop" is just a small plastic wedge on the back of the front steerer tube. When my son took a wrong turn, the plastic stop wedge broke and then the handlebars REALLY flipped causing them to break. When we got home I took out the anchors, drilled a hole where the plastic stop should have been, screwed a decent metal screw into the hole and cut off the back of the screw so it was flush on the inside. steerer tube. I reassembled the forks and now the bolt works as a stopper. and everything is back to normal. With a metal screw as a "stop" this should no longer happen. I was surprised at how little plastic was built into the original swivel. he wasn't strong enough.
