We use smaller pillows along with our regular pillows to help you sleep more comfortably. I have a hard time finding what we need when it comes time for new pillows, covers and/or covers. We recently replaced all three. These pillowcases matched our travel pillows very well and the measurements were accurate. They washed well and we didn't get as many wrinkles as a lot of people. These are not "envelopes" but ordinary pillowcases, which I agree with. My problem was that they felt pretty rough. I like cool, crisp cotton sheets. No satin, but normal cotton. They didn't look like my cotton sheets at all. I may have lasted 15 minutes but they irritated my skin. I'm a little picky about the fabric of my sheets and pillowcases, but not too much. My husband, who is not picky at all, agreed that they are not boring. They're not bad, but I order different covers and use my old tattered pillow for now. I will definitely not put it on a pillow for a child.
