First of all this is a beautiful dress. I bought it to ring in 2020 in 1920's style. I recommend it!Would I say it's $50 quality? No. I think all the embroidery and sequin work bumps the price up. But it is certainly not the worst or cheapest garment I've received from Walmart. The quality was above what I expected. I was very pleased. The dress has a nice heavy feel, sequins and tassles were sewn on well, and over the entire dress, not just the front. The zipper was a little difficult to get up and down on my own, mainly because all the decoration on the dress made it difficult to feel if it was completely down. The zipper itself was good quality. I'll be honest, I was blown away by the quality of this dress for the price. I went to a 1920's themed party and can't tell you how many compliments I received. I bought the black one in small. The only thing I will add is because the dress has some stretch to it, the x-small would have fit just a little better (in the chest area). For reference, I am 5'2 and a half and weight 115 lbs. and am a B cup.

I purchased the large even though i'm typically a small or medium in dresses. The large fit perfectly and the length was to my fingertips so a normal mini dress style. This is a really cute dress but as other reviews state it is short especially in the back. I am 5’4” (technically 5’ 4 1/2”) and weight 138 lbs. I purchased this for a themed bday party for about $50-60 and never wore it. I felt like a garbage bag! I made my own dress and this has sat in my closet. I wanted to return it but I passed the time frame for sending it back. Personally - would not recommend. If you are thinner, don't have shape at all or if you are tall, this may work for you. but I am short, curvy and plump.
