I have a large fold out couch with a metal frame, very, very heavy. Before that I have to lift every corner and ask my son to sweep or vacuum. I got this so I can do it myself by simply gliding a flat microfiber mop and picking up any dust or food that got underneath and then vacuuming. The flat part of the mop can easily get under a small spot on the sofa, except for the plastic handle. that the rod's handle is attached to the flat wiper, which prevents it from slipping underneath easily unless I give it a little nudge to get past the front of the sofa. There is no problem under the TV stand and the refrigerator. The flat plastic part of the mop is very flexible and will flex in any direction and return to its flat shape with no problem, but I'm worried about how it will handle wear and tear. The rod extends and is fixed by turning the plastic handle clockwise and counterclockwise. The microfiber picks up dust fairly easily, can be removed for washing and drying, and comes with two. After these two are worn and torn I think I can just use any microfiber cloth and use a rubber band on both if needed.
