I use this screen daily in three different contexts: (a) as a secondary monitor on my home workstation connected to a 2019 Macbook Pro; (b) as the primary monitor connected to my Macbook Pro when traveling (because my laptop's 13-inch screen is too small for my limited view); (c) Connected to my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone while using the Zwift virtual bike app. It works great in all three contexts. I had a complaint about the product, but then I found a simple fix that doesn't seem to be covered in the manual unless I'm missing something. Problem: When connected via USB-C, the brightness is sometimes too low and when trying to increase the brightness, the monitor resets. This is a constant problem when connected to a smartphone and only occasionally occurs when connected to a laptop. Decision. Use the bottom of the monitor's two USB-C ports to connect it to an external power source (e.g., another USB port on a laptop or the connector that came with the display). When outdoors, I plug it into an unused USB port or portable power bank. With an external power supply you always get the full range of brightness, which I think is as bright as any other monitor I use. (I had to buy a second USB-C to USB-C cable). If you have a device that doesn't have USB-C ports but does have an HDMI port, no problem - the screen comes with a special cable that allows HDMI connections, but then the screen must always be connected to an external power supply become source (again, it could just be a USB-2 port on your computer). When connected to my Samsung Galaxy phone, the phone gives me the ability to turn my phone screen into a mouse pad. The portable monitor shows a graphical interface with all my phone's applications. Zwift connecting to a Wahoo exercise bike via Bluetooth works great in this environment. In fact, it works better on my phone than on my laptop (fewer freezes and crashes). This model is not touch sensitive.
