I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and buy this chair. I work from home and spend a lot of time in my chair and I can tell you it was 100% better than my old office chair and I didn't realize how bad my old chair was getting until I sat in this one. I'm 5'8" and have curves and hips, but the seat has plenty of room to move and good padding for the butt and thighs. This is comfortable. My office has all wood floors (no carpet) and the wheels glide so easily off the floor that I really have to catch myself not to roll across the room when I sit down!The lumbar support is perfect for me and the top pillow also provides support for my shoulders which I like because I use it all day I love the color too, which I think should be some sort of wine, but against the cherry wood backdrop in my home office it looks more like a rich cocoa brown than purple.
