It took about 30 minutes to install these bags. Sometimes I drive with just one seat and no backrest, and sometimes I drive with two seats, so I set them up with and without a backrest. The instructions are for a Harley, but looking at them gave me an idea of how to get them to work on the Vulcan S. The two plastic frame covers were not reused in either setup. The metal support was retained for a consistent look and removed and replaced with a passenger seat backrest bracket to mount the backrest. For both setups I reused original or factory bolts that were originally in the fender. These bags look cute!
