I was pleasantly surprised because the real product is much better than the picture. I bought this board for my wife as she loves to cook and is always in the kitchen so I thought this would be the perfect gift for her. It's gotten even better. I didn't know there was a difference between cutting boards so my wife (very happy with this one) just enlightened me. This is more gentle on the knife than plastic. It's also eco-friendly because it's made of bamboo. Turns out size does matter. When you cut tomatoes or juicy food, the juice doesn't drip off the board and the groove catches everything. This size and grooves greatly reduce clutter. I also noticed that it's stronger than other boards because it's bigger, thicker and slightly heavier. My wife thinks this is the best cutting board she has ever owned. I'm surprised. Royal Craft Wood gets an A for that.
