For the last year I've been doing distance learning by getting it to work on my Surface Pro. However, the tiny display caught up with me. Thinking I wouldn't go back to school and most likely get a remote job I got the monitor but needed a way to connect it to my surface. I chose this item because I liked its size and the presence of an Ethernet port. I currently have HDMI connected for the monitor and USB for the mouse and keyboard. So far it's going pretty smoothly. I hope this remains a seamless connection.
