I was replacing the light strips in my house as they were worn out. I had to connect my light strips together as I was covering the entire room with them. My old light bars used pin connectors which were included, but my new light bars used these clamp connectors and they were not included. So I picked them as they were the cheapest I could find. It requires a bit of fingernail pressure to open the clips, not too hard, but I wish there was a little slit on the end of the clip covers to make the process easier. Joining the strips together was also a little tricky, when trying to join the light strips together one of the ends of the strip wrinkled and I had to cut off that part of the light strip. I also had one strip showing a different color than the other until I discovered I had connected the wrong end. Once the light strips are connected the clamp connectors work fine, I don't think there is a need to pay for more expensive clamps. when these cheaper clamps do their job just as well.
