It would be nice if it was the right size.

I usually add photos but to be honest I didn't bother. I've been messing around with computers since the 80's, and out of the hundreds of components I've installed over the years, only this one was the wrong size. The bracket is too long and over 1/4" longer than it should be. This prevents screwing and fitting covers which in your case may apply to this area. Worse, you have to tilt the wifi card to get it this works at all. For some reason the footprints don't match any PCIe card I've ever seen and are offset enough to prevent it from being detected. This is a joke about the product and a clear example of how that absolutely no effort was put on quality control.it was practically unusable and i was so pissed i removed it and forgot it missed the return window forever burned by this bad product.after all for all these physical issues, that prevent it from working properly, I still attempted to use it, carefully inserting it into the slot and making sure the traces with the Sti are aligned. This will make it work, but it will be very ugly and any vibration will cause the internet connection to drop. Sometimes the map is completely disabled. disappear e.g. B. from device management and never come back. I would definitely avoid that and buy from any other manufacturer. These problems are unforgivable and I have never seen this before. Performance seems good when it works, but that's rare, and who cares when it works if you can't set it up properly. I tried it on my kids computers hoping it was just mine, but it didn't fit or work properly on any of them. I've sent four or five emails to the manufacturer and haven't received a response. Look elsewhere for a good, affordable Intel-based Wi-Fi card.
