I have a large kitchen drawer but there just aren't enough of them so it came in handy. I ordered a set of 2 plus extra cutlery. I found it held my complete cutlery set which is around 14 pieces. Now I have a place for all those weird things that I had to stuff in another drawer. The drawer is more organized, which I like, and my husband finds things more easily. I warn you that if I stack my tablespoons and then set them on the side so they all fit in my compartment, I'm clearing away all my silverware. Remember I've invested more than most people. My knives wouldn't fit on just one stand. Two works great for me. The knife has my steak knives on top, smaller knives next to it, and larger ones on the bottom. If your knives have large handles, don't overfill them as the handles take up a lot of space. Ideal for small thin hands. I definitely recommend cutlery, but the knife depends on what you have.
