This is what I've been looking for for years to put in my windows for Christmas. I had flashlights off the net and batteries that worked once. The candle part is wax (I chose ivory). There is an insert that fits inside the candle where you insert 2 AAA batteries. I bought 2 boxes of lights when I could actually use 15 candles. I took out the remote control and turned them all on at 3pm and then installed them in my windows. They all left at 11:00 p.m., and today they all continued at 3:00 p.m. So easy!
