Review on Minimalist Bedside Reading Light: Acegoo Dimmable LED Task Light with USB Charger for Bed Book Reading, Wall Headboard Surface Mount (Matte Black) by Evan Haynes

great lamp that does exactly what it's supposed to do

tldr, I've spent some time looking through similar looking reading lamps and I'm glad I paid a little more to get these . Good: The material feels great and the matte black blends perfectly with my black headboard, making the lamp completely unobtrusive. It's smaller than it looks in the picture. Installation was easy thanks to the bracket design. The power button clicks satisfactorily, dimming is easy to control and the USB port is a nice touch. The light is emitted in a narrow beam that is ideal for reading without disturbing those around you. The packaging is also very well done and makes a good first impression. Cool bonus: Thanks to "Quick Disconnect" in the power cable, you can drill another small hole under the bracket and thread the power cable through it, which means that the wiring practically disappears. You now have an elegant, floating headboard lamp. Bad: The light temperature is a bit cool in my opinion. The LED is not replaceable. Of course, this will probably take a decade, but it still seems wasteful. The glass is not adjustable, so the beam width cannot be changed (all this is clearly stated in the product description). Conclusion: Basically, this product is exactly as described and worth every penny. I will soon be buying a second one for the other side of the bed.
