Died 6 months later in a potentially dangerous manner, De'Longhi's warranty requires videotaping.
The grill should be dishwasher safe but the dishwasher probably destroyed it. Immediately after 6 months, the GFCI protection on the sockets began to take effect. A grill with a faulty safety ground is unsafe and can kill you if plugged into a non-GFCI outlet. The galvanized tray under the grate began to rust after being washed in the dishwasher. I chatted with the warranty department, at first they acted like they didn't understand what GFCI is and explained that these were two knobs on a kitchen socket. Next, they ask to call technical support and record a video in the browser with a smartphone (without a smartphone there is no guarantee). I keep waiting I suggest avoiding all De'Longhi products.
