1TB for less than $20 is too good to be true. I was trying to use it to back up files on my Linux Mint laptop. Many descriptive file names are incompatible with the FAT format on a flash drive. I reformatted my flash drive to Linux ext4 format using GParted. It seemed to work until I tried creating a directory with the needed read/write permissions. The flash drive has become corrupted and attempts to repair or reformat it have failed. I went back to my 128gb sd card which I reformatted to ext4 as a backup but I'm close to max capacity. Please take this review as a warning to change your flash drive and note that your results will vary on a Windows computer with FAT compatible filenames.
