ADVANTAGES: 1. Works immediately after connecting to a Windows 10 PC and setting up fingerprint login; No driver download required. 2. VERY quickly recognizes fingerprints; CONS: 1. Disconnects from USB connector from time to time which requires some shaking to work. 2. Stopped working once and I had to disconnect and reconnect to get it working again. These little annoyances are worth not typing the password to unlock the computer every time!
