I should have known that you cannot buy a high-quality audio system for a hundred euros. I was driving and the device would turn off and on again, repeating itself day after day. After repeated visits from the installer to be told the problem was with the cheap unit, I finally went along with it and replaced the unit with a JVC unit. The problem is solved. I spent $120 on this unit, $150 on installation and a lot of time to save money in the beginning. Too old to be stupid.
