The pump is fantastic, works like a charm. We used this at our campsite with a battery powered solar charger and it worked great. My friend came back after 2 weeks but there was no water, the battery was dead. She plugged in a 12 volt charger and had water but she couldn't start it because our pipes were leaking. When I got there, I started the pump and it would build and build pressure until the motor stopped turning, +/- 95 psi. I had another marine pump, I removed the pressure switch from it and we were able to use it again. We have 3 of these in our warehouse and all 3 had a faulty pressure switch. The solution is to go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a conventional push button switch, hook it up to the output line and turn off the original switch. Connect a traditional pressure switch with original cables and never worry about pump failure again.
