Review on Ultimate Performance Upgrade: Energy Suspension 4.2121G Front Spring Bushing Set for Ford 4WD by Aaron Stewart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

91 Front of Ford F250 4X4 Dana 50 IFS.

Worked well. I suggest you remove the passenger side leaf spring and completely remove the passenger side IFS half. Do all those jacks and leave them, don't reinstall them. Then for the driver side IFS half with differential, first remove the bolt holding the axle at the pivot, push out the bushing and replace, align and reinstall the bolt, THEN remove the leaf spring and make these jacks. Makes it a lot easier. Also consider replacing the innermost U-joint on the passenger side as it is accessible when everything is removed. With the old leaf spring bushings, I pushed out the center bushing first, then the rubber, and if the metal bushing didn't match the rubber, I used a saw blade to cut through the metal and cut through the bushing right where the leaf spring was bending, leaving a small one Gap. If the cut is too deep, no streaks remain on the sheet metal that could be ironed out later. After cutting, I used an old flat head screwdriver to loosen the bushing. I used an OTC ball joint press to press everything else out.
