Installs on a desk where other similar stands have had clearance issues. My desk is against a wall, so I couldn't use the double-hinged mounts that make up the majority of the offering. This device is really well made, it was easy to assemble, good instructions. I deducted a star for two reasons: First, being taller, I had to move the monitors up more than half the mullion on my standard-height desk for comfort/ergonomics. If you run your monitors past the half mark, unless your desk is too heavy, the monitors will rock back and forth when you shake the desk. Second, after installing my 27" monitors, it was unusually difficult to move them up and down the center post without loosening a few screws. I think it's good or bad depending on how you look at it. I don't want the monitors to crawl down, but I would have preferred the screens to move up and down more smoothly and then maybe be fixed with a single set screw. I also found one here on Revain (and at least one other model I tried).
