Review on ๐Ÿšฟ Genuine GM 25823360 Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle by David Tison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Apparently this is a 'new and improved' version of

The problem with the original block was that the center of the nozzle popped out allowing most of the liquid to gurgle out of the jet. Others report the same problem. This happened on each of my planes two months apart. The first time I took it to the dealer where I paid $100 to have it replaced(!). There is no more of it. Two months later, the second plane did the same. I ordered this part from Revain. It differs from the original but is identical to the unit my dealer replaced my original unit with. I think GM must have had complaints and that's why they changed the part. I notice that there is a 1 digit difference between the original device and the replacement device. Installation is not difficult. You will need a $6.00 tool to remove the latches that secure the engine mat, which is located on the underside of the hood. You need to remove this part (maybe 6 latches?). There is a video on YouTube with step-by-step instructions. Remove that, disconnect the old device, unplug it, connect the new one, reconnect the hose. Replace mat and latch. Ready. The plastic of the original device was brittle and just fell apart. Do not be surprised. In my case, it broke off inside the tubing that connects to the fluid supply. It was so fragile that I just cleaned it with a screwdriver. never mind This whole process can take 10 minutes. If I ever had to do it again it would take 5 minutes. Very easy. Looks professional. My 10 minutes of work, a $6.00 reusable unlocking tool, and the cost of the part (about $16.00) and you're done. If I knew how easy it was, I wouldn't spend $100 at the dealer to fix this part.

Pros
  • , it is not a replacement part.
Cons
