Review on Saris Bones 805 2 Bike Trunk by Justin Early

I was driving 70 mph down the California 55 last week and heard a strange noise. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw my 1 month old 2018 Santa Cruz Blur CC Reserve flapping in the wind. I was able to get over to the curb and found: - The heavy duty ratchet strap on the driver's side broke in half at the T-mount point on the support arm - This immediately caused the bike to flip back on that side and ripped the main ratchet strap out of the T- on the other arm shaped canal. At that point, anyone else would have strewn $9,000 worth of bike parts along with wrecked cars on the freeway. Luckily for everyone involved, I have a cable with an integrated bike lock that runs through the horizontal tube on the saree and around the frame. Notice that all the saris mounts on the bike have GONE. Only this cable helped to avoid a complete disaster. I can not say. But overall it was a terrible experience and deserves a 1 star rating.
