Before that, I rode 4 seasons on a dueler a / t 697 and the tire frankly disappointed me - the rubber is hard, crumbles on the primer, the blocks are close, there are few lamellas on them, therefore the tread deformation on the microrelief is bad, the result - in the corners, the front axle was drifted on the ground , plus poor damping of vibrations, I had to lower the pressure to 1.9 for comfort. Suitable only for asphalt. With the same tire - Dueler a / t 001, the situation is diametrically opposite, the rubber goes softer, there are 2-4 times more lamellas on the blocks, therefore the tread deforms better - it literally sticks to the road on the ground, with an increase in speed, the vibrations decrease (as they say more speed - less holes), even on broken rocky ground it is quite comfortable with a pressure of 2.2, and at 2.0 it’s like on asphalt :) I drove the season - chips and cuts from stones are not yet visible, like new. In muddy soil, it rows quite decently for a / t, but it’s better not to climb into clay and silt, there is no grip)
