This is for 2.5G NIC. Had to get this because I had a small form factor to build my PC on, my x570 crosshair 8 only affected gigabit LAN and I often do network broadcasts to my NAS/Plex server. Gig isn't the worst, but I know my 3.5" drives can transfer over 200MB/s and gigabit drives around 112MB/s. Firstly it works great as you can see from the picture, it transfers over 2.5GB. Too bad my board doesn't have 2.5 or 5GB built in should its price be. But it was a good alternative. Installation: Do yourself a favor and download and install 7-zip before connecting if you don't already have 7-zip. Winrar doesn't work for me. Do you have drivers on it. Install quickly and you're done. Easy.
